If you want a good basic (or an emergency) corded phone, this is the one you should get.
I bought this phone becuase I tired of chasing a cordless around, and running out of battery power when using the cordless. I was looking for something without any features other than being able to dial out, and talk. After we used it for a few months I bought another one. They have worked without any problems at all and the sound quality is so much better than our cordless phones, and the corded phone we had before these. For $15, this is a great phone and a phone this basic is becoming difficult to find, even at place like Wal-Mart.For those looking for a phone with no features beyond placing and receiving calls (no caller ID with this one), I recommend this phone.
if Panasonic one of the best players out there couldn't pull this off perfectly I would be shocked. what can I say this is a corded wall mountable phone with no screen. this is tech that has been perfected for decades. this is a basic phone that works exactly like you would expect. buy it with confidence.
I highly recommend this phone to anyone that wants a plain basic phone. My only grip is the ring tone is horrible.
So obviously it doesn't require power to operate. I bought this phone to have as a back up for when power goes out.
For the price you can't beat it. It has no bells or whistles.
No caller ID, no message waiting light, and so on. It's a "chirp" sound and it scares my cat.
Something rare these days.
An excellent basic phone. Works great and looks great. It is perfect to ensure there is at least one phone in the house that works when the power goes out.
